About Georgina Grivas
Georginaâs passion for photography stems from her father's legacy, a professional photographer whose dedication and talent left a lasting impression on her.
Following in his footsteps, Georgina now enjoys the creative freedom that comes with being a freelance photographer.
Georgina's Inspiration
Georgina shares what inspired her to become a freelancer:
"Photography has always been a strong passion and a big part of that comes from my fatherâs background and legacy. Seeing his work flourish from a young age, his dedication, and the way he captured moments truly inspired me.
"Being a freelance photographer like he once was allows me to have that creative freedom and keep his legacy alive."
Georgina's Dream Client
Georgina shared who would be her dream photography client:
"A dream client for me would be a magazine like Vanity Fair or Vogue. My father excelled at capturing the essence of a person and their beauty. Working with such a publication would allow me to hone my skills in capturing the stories written on people's faces, just like he once did."
Georgina's Proudest Achievement
Georgina talks about the proudest achievement in her career so far:
"The part of my photography that brings me the most pride is my work with film. It's a direct connection to my dad's legacy. He thrived in the world of film before his diagnosis. It feels like I'm carrying the torch. Recreating his style and techniques helps me feel closer to him."
Georgina's Advice for Other Freelancers
Georgina shares her advice for aspiring freelancers:
"Freelancing gives you time to sharpen your skills in ways you wouldnât working a normal 9-5.
"Thereâs nothing more rewarding than honing your craft to eventually earn a living. Keep pushing and stay inspired. Connect with others going through the same thing. Freelancing offers flexibility and independence."
What Georgina Enjoys Most About Being a Freelancer
Georgina shares what she enjoys most about being a freelancer:
"I love the freedom and flexibility and having so much control over my schedule and workload. Being my own boss and having creative control over my work is a massive advantage for me."
