As well as hosting regular events and workshops, tenants and hot deskers at LCB Depot are encouraged to mingle and share ideas as much as possible.
It’s also in a great central location and has very good facilities – including a fully stocked café and open plan hot desking area.
LCB Depot is the main workspace of Leicester’s Creative Industries Hub, which includes Phoenix Square and Makers’ Yard. Together, the three sites are home to over 150 businesses and have four publicly available meeting rooms. They also offer a busy and vibrant events and exhibitions programme which has an audience of over 20,000 each year.

Part of the Leicester Creative Industries Hub, Phoenix Square opened in 2009 above the independent Phoenix Cinema.
It has 30 workspace studio’s on its three floors, and tenants have access to the café-bar and gallery space as well as the recently extended and redeveloped cinema. There’s also a digital exhibition space and digital production facilities for tenants to use.
The aim is to support Leicester's thriving creative and cultural community - which all makes for a vibrant and collaborative environment for creative startups and freelancers to work and grow.
Makers’ Yard

The team behind LCB Depot and Phoenix Square also manage Makers’ Yard, Leicester’s premier studio space for artists and designer-makers.
Also located in Leicester’s Cultural Quarter, Makers’ Yard is situated in a listed building which is the oldest surviving hosiery factory in the East Midlands. This historic building was restored in 2013 to provide a range of shared or single studio spaces for smaller creative enterprises, entrepreneur artists, makers and artisans.
Harborough Innovation Centre

Established in 2010, Harborough Innovation Centre (HIC) is a vibrant, eco-friendly business hub providing over 50 flexible office suites in a range of sizes.
As well as workspaces and meeting rooms, HIC offers bespoke business support for new and thriving small to medium enterprises from its handy location close to the centre of Market Harborough.
HIC also boasts modern meeting rooms for hire with state-of-the-art audio-visual equipment, as well as The Hive – their shared office space with desks available on a daily or weekly basis.
Dock

Dock is Leicester’s dedicated workspace hub for high-tech and innovative businesses.
It offers a variety of different workspaces - from 200 sqft to 2000 sqft - to support innovative, low-carbon businesses with their start-up journey all the way into a growing business.
Dock provides high quality serviced offices, industrial units, and a thriving co-working space for those who prefer the atmosphere of collaboration and creative stimulation.
There’s also meeting rooms that are perfect for team or client meetings, away days, workshops, or presentations. The rooms can comfortably hold up to 60 people and there’s also a range of catering options to suit all needs and tastes.
In terms of community, the Dock runs regular networking events with outside businesses and fosters an environment of collaboration with various break-out spaces.
Regus – Meridian

The second Regus workspace on our list, Regus – Meridian offers the same level of professional and modern workspaces for freelancers and small businesses as its counterpart in the city centre.
However, the location is not as convenient and is more suited to those travelling by car – particularly as it is just a few minutes’ drive from the M1 and M69 motorways. This makes it more suited to hosting meetings with clients in the modern meeting rooms.
There’s also workspaces available so you can have a productive day either working by yourself or as a team.
